1. Data controller

The data controller is TETTRIX, a simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) under Beninese law, whose registered office is at Lot 117c Lobozounkpa, Godomey, Atlantique, Benin.

2. Data we process

The tettrix.bj website has no forms and collects nothing about you when you simply browse it.

Personal data is processed in the following cases:

• When you write to us: surname and first names, email address, telephone number, and the content of your message.
• When you become a client: company name, address, RCCM, IFU, contact details, and the information needed for invoicing.
• Server logs: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type. These are kept by the host for one (1) year.

3. Operations carried out

Data is subject to the following operations: collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, use, communication by transmission, matching, restriction and erasure.

Processing is electronic and, where contractual documents are kept on paper, manual.

4. Purposes

Each purpose is distinct and corresponds to an identified processing operation:

• responding to enquiries and preparing quotations;
• performing and following up contracted services;
• invoicing, accounting and compliance with tax obligations;
• ensuring the security and availability of the website and of the systems we administer.

5. Recipients and transfers

Data is accessible only to those who need it to carry out their duties:

It may be disclosed to our host (LWS – Ligne Web Services) and, where required by law, to administrative or judicial authorities.

Transfers outside Benin: processing takes place on Beninese territory, but hosting is entrusted to a subcontractor whose infrastructure may be located outside Benin and ECOWAS. Such transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses and by reinforced technical and organisational measures.

Google LLC: the map on the home page is provided by Google Maps, and Google therefore receives the IP address of visitors to that page. See the “Cookies and trackers” page.

6. Retention and storage

Contact data is kept for as long as the relationship requires, then deleted or archived in accordance with the applicable statutory periods. Contractual and accounting data is kept for the applicable statutory period.

Data is stored in France, electronically and, for contractual documents, on paper at the registered office.

Once these periods expire, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

The law grants you the following rights over data concerning you:

To exercise them, write to contact@tettrix.bj or by post to the registered office, enclosing a copy of an identity document. We respond within two (2) months of receiving your request. That period may be extended by a further two (2) months where the request is complex or where we receive a high volume of requests; you will be informed if so.

• right of access to the information collected;
• right to enquire;
• right to rectification and amendment;
• right to portability;
• right to object to processing;
• right to erasure and to be forgotten;
• right to compensation.

8. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority, at rue 6.076 Aïdjèdo in Cotonou, or by email at contact@apdp.bj.

This is without prejudice to any action before the competent court.
